Workers are more than ever vulnerable today in the Republic of Mauritius.

Workers are more than ever vulnerable today in the Republic of Mauritius. The world of work is changing. The corporate environment is consolidating its strength. And HR strategies are working against the workers. Its effects are now clearly visible. Layoffs and abuse against workers are emerging to establish as the new norm. It’s no more rights based. It’s rather a new chaos industry where insecurity and instability at work is manufactured. The advantage for the corporate, or let us say the enterprises, is that they are able to recruit people who are vulnerable. Young workers want things to happen immediately. The young wants it all now; i.e. instantaneous gratification. Young workers want things now which is in itself a good thing. But the worst part of the story is that workers enter into deceptive contract of employment devoid or depleted of the basic conditions. Thus voluntarily exposing them to precocity.
