Tuesday 5 September 2017, to mark the United Nations (UN) International Day of Charity 2017, DPiN (Development Practitioners in Network) awarded AHEAD a Certificate of Recognition for its work in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s).

The event took place in Port Louis, Mauritius. Some 50 NGO’s working with the vulnerable groups and engaged in achieving the SDG’s were also awarded the Certificate. Lady Sarojini Jugnauth, Hon. Sinatambou Marie Joseph Noel Etienne Ghislain, Minister of Social Security, Reform Institutions and Environment, and Sustainable Development, and Mr. Daniel Eric Clive Laurent, Lord Mayor, City Council of Port Louis were present to grace the event.
